Ten Years. A Poem.

Ten years ago today, I married a pretty girl named Ciocchetti before God and friends. On this happy occasion of our anniversary,  I sought to turn some similarly lettered words into an expression of my love for her and my thanks to God.  Hope you enjoy it.

Alliterate Affection

Beloveds beautifully bound
Love livened long by lavish loyalty
Words and works welded wonderfully
Promises proved positive perpetually

Anguish absolved amorously apace
Reconciliation’s respite rightly relished
Feelings fired by forgiven faux pas
Commitment convoyed with constant care

Four flitting fast and furious
A precious pair paused in peace
One alone abiding adorably aloft
Fruits of faithful fusion fashioned

Hopes harbored on Holy, holy, holy
Dreams drifting on Divine desires
Realities resting reliably on the Redeemer
Love learned of the lowly Lord
