There’s a hole in the bottom of the sea,
There’s a hole in the bottom of the sea,
There’s a hole, there’s a hole,
There’s a hole in the bottom of the sea.
Well technically the hole is in a pipe in the bottom of the sea. And you know what? We can’t stop it. And you know why. Because humanity has limitations. Don’t tell Richard Hawkins or Chris Hitch, or the rest of the people who have bought into the theory of the limitless human. I believe that every time we can’t, it should be a reminder of a simple fact. We are not God. When the oil flows, when the disease is incurable, when the history burns, it is all a subtle call to humility, a Job-like rebuke from the Creator to the creatures.
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
