Religion vs. Science: A Response

Dear Science,

You are one arrogant jerk aren’t you.  If you think landing on Mars was outstanding, you should have been there when I created it and the rest of the universe.  You weren’t there were you?  Oh no, you are a late invention which has made a living of seeking to describe my handiwork.  Remember all your mistakes throughout the ages.  You were convinced of things that since have been proven ludicrous.  Oh, how I chuckled in the heavens.

You never know your limits.  No doubt you could be of great service to all my creation if you could just set aside your pride for a moment.  You remind me of those buffoons back at Babylon.

As far as chicken, the news up here said it was those some of those who have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity, who said where to eat.  My people just made clear that they were proud of someone not just bowing to the culture, especially someone who business relies on successful marketing to that culture.

I would love to be pals, but your pride so often makes it hard for us to hang together.

The God of the Pure Religion revealed in my Son, Jesus Christ.

  1. This was a cute and succinct way to respond to the simultaneously pro-human and anti-God faction of our society that seems to be speaking louder and louder whether their numbers are increasing or not. Thanks for continuing to say what many of us think but cannot put into words.
