HalleHoo

I had a goal of writing a song for each of my children on the guitar.  With child four at age three, I am finally am finishing child two’s song  (number one is still in the works).  It is called HalleHoo because that is how my oldest girl Olivia used to say Hallelujah.

Lyrics:

HalleHoo

Refrain:

HalleHoo, Hallelu. Halle, Halle, Hallelujah

Verse One:

You have ordained that the children sing your praise
On the lips of babes your holy name is praised
Surely the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these
Laying on their backs or crawling on their knees

Refrain

Verse Two:

When I consider all the works of your hand
Who are these little ones that you would understand
Yet you claim them with the water and your word
Father, Son and Holy Spirit’s names are heard.

Refrain

Bridge:

Truly I say to you unless you will turn
Truly I say to you unless you will learn
Become like children, humble like them
Or you will not enter the kingdom of heaven

Refrain

You have ordained that the children sing your praise

Listen if you wish. Warning, it is by me, recorded by me.
