The truth of this idiom seems to have been lost. Too many women believe that the most influential things they can do are in the workplace or on the committee. This is ludicrous.
There is no more influential role in the world than that of motherhood. Mother’s shape the next generation. True, it is often an influence not felt for many years, but it is no doubt the greatest impact any woman can have. Culture is often shaped by mothers much more than the powerful men out in the world.
In the pursuit of equality and power, women have given up their most powerful means of changing the world. How sad for them, and for our world.
